Project introduction

This project is the result of the research and industrialization project which is carried out under the funding of the national key R&D program.

This project developed a special structure of light, powder and air paths——As to details, the design is equipped with spatial light package powder structure, light-powder gas multi-phase flow without interference, long-range, precise alignment coupling technology, focal spot modulation and variable light spot technology; material powder utilization rate increased from 30%-50% to 60%-90%;Surface roughness reduced from rough grade manufacturing to Ra3.41μm gradeThe 500W-20000W series of high precision and high efficiency multi-functional laser cladding and forming systems have been successfully developed, with fused deposition dimensional accuracy/shape accuracy ≤ ±0.1mm/±0.01mm, breaking through the traditional cladding and forming only in the horizontal or small inclination angle (generally not exceeding ±45°) base surface cladding and forming space limit.Developed spatial slicing and layering, variable directional melt trajectory planning technology, nozzle anti-powder spattering pollution technology; realized nozzle space arbitrary oblique, vertical, elevation base surface and continuous 360° space variable directional 3D forming meltDeveloped non-parallel slicing layering, normal stacking with shape and path planning and control system, realizing non-misaligned stacking between layers and eliminating the traditional step effect; developed process technologies and software algorithms for forming large overhanging bent and twisted parts, variable width/height structures, closed structures, fully closed thin-walled cavities, cross nested structures, etc., solving the world-wide problem of unsupported free forming of multiple complex shaped structures by laser cladding; It has achieved a major breakthrough in laser cladding additive manufacturing technology and created a new technology of precise, universal laser cladding and unsupported free 3D forming of complex heterogeneous parts, which has a broad prospect of promotion and application in industry, academia and research.
