1. Cold processing: Ultraviolet laser processing technology uses the characteristics of the interaction between the laser beam and the material to perform cutting, welding, surface treatment, drilling and micro-processing on the material. The interaction of the UV laser with the material is called "photochemical ablation". When a material is irradiated with a laser, absorbing a pulse of high peak power causes a thin layer of internal bonds to break at the surface of the material, and the resulting molecular fragments diffuse into the plasma. When the plasma diffuses outward, it takes excess energy from the material, so there is little damage to the area near the processing, which is what we often call "cold processing" of UV laser inkjet printers. This kind of cold processing is special in laser marking processing, because it is not thermal ablation, but a cold peeling that does not produce 'heat damage' side effects and destroys chemical bonds, so it will not cause heating or thermal deformation to the surface of the processed material. The treated material has smooth edges and a low degree of carbonization. This characteristic of almost no damage to materials makes the application range of UV laser inkjet printers wider than that of fiber laser inkjet printers and CO2 laser inkjet printers, and the coding work on light and thin materials is its strong point.
2. Fine inkjet coding: Among the laser inkjet printers, the wavelength of the ultraviolet laser inkjet printer is 355nm, and the wavelength of the fiber laser inkjet printer is 1064nm. Compared with fiber laser printers and CO2 laser printers, UV laser printers have shorter wavelengths. Compared with long-wavelength lasers, short-wavelength lasers can obtain smaller focused spots, and can perform very fine microprocessing that is difficult to achieve in ordinary processing. Ultraviolet laser is widely used in fine processing because of its short wavelength, small focusable spot, small heat-affected zone, and flexible and convenient processing. However, fiber laser printers and CO2 laser printers will cause different degrees of damage to the surface of the processed material, so compared with ultraviolet laser printers, the fineness of the printers is inferior.
3. No consumables, low cost, and no pollution: Before the appearance of laser inkjet printers, the traditional coding method used ink coding, resulting in a large consumption of ink consumables and high cost of logo coding. With the popularization of laser inkjet printers, inkjet printers used in many industries are gradually updated to laser inkjet printers. Ultraviolet laser inkjet printers use the principle of ultraviolet laser beams to destroy the chemical bonds of materials for marking, so there are no consumables in daily operations, which greatly reduces the cost of coding for enterprises.
