Metal laser cutting machine structure and principle:
Metal laser cutting machine is composed of laser cutting head, optical transmission parts, cross slider, CNC machine tool, electronic computer, cooling tower, maintenance gas tank, dust collector, air dryer and other components.
1. Laser generator
A laser light source device based on a laser generator. The main purpose of laser cutting is to use CO2 vapor laser with high electro-optical conversion efficiency and high power, except for YAG solid-state laser in a few places. Since laser cutting has high requirements on the quality of light, not all lasers can be used for cutting.
2. Cutting head
What matters is the head, focusing lens, focus tracking system software and other components.
The cutting head propulsion device is a device that moves the cutting head in the z-axis direction according to the program flow, and is composed of AC servo motor, ball screw, transmission gear and other transmission devices.
1. Magnetic head
There are three types of magnetic heads: parallel plane, convergent, and tapered.
2. Focus lens
The kinetic energy of the laser beam is used for cutting, so that the initial light emitted by the laser must pass through the lens to focus, and then a spot with a relatively high energy density can be formed.
3. Tracking system software
The focus tracking system software of the laser cutting machine is generally composed of the focus head and the tracking sensor system software. The cutting head consists of light guide focusing, water cooling, air blowing detection and mechanical equipment adjustment.
A sensor constitutes part of the operation of a sensor component. Tracking system software varies by sensor device. The key here are two types of tracking system: capacitive sensor tracking system and non-contact tracking system. The other is an inductive sensor tracking system, also called a door tracking system.
3. Optical transmission components
External laser light path: reflective lens that maps the desired orientation of the guided laser. All reflective lenses require multi-faceted maintenance of the protective cover to avoid common failures in the light channel, access to clean positive pressure for steam maintenance, and protection of the lens from environmental contamination. A well-characterized set of lenses focuses cornerless light on an infinitesimally small spot of light. Typically a lens with a lens focal length of 5.0 feet is used. The 7.5ft lens is 12mm thick material.
4. Cross sliding
A part of the CNC lathe server: including a part of the laser cutting machine CNC lathe, a part of the mechanical equipment that completes the x, y, z axis fitness movement, and the cutting table.

6. Refrigeration system
Refrigeration unit: used to cool the laser generator. Laser is a device that converts electromagnetic energy into solar energy. For example, the laser conversion rate of CO2 vapor is generally 20%, and the remaining kinetic energy is converted into heat. Cooling circulating water takes away unnecessary heat and maintains all normal work of the laser generator.
7. Gas storage tank
The gas storage tank includes the material gas storage tank and the auxiliary gas storage tank in the working of the laser cutting machine, which fills the laser fluctuating chemical gas and provides the auxiliary steam for the cutting head.
8. Dust removal equipment
The dust and smoke generated during production and processing shall be considered and dealt with, so that industrial waste gas conforms to ecological environmental protection standards.
9. Evaporative cooling dryer equipment, filter device
Used to supply clean dry gas to the laser generator and optical channel to maintain all proper working conditions of the channel and reflective lens.
